E3D High Flow ObXidian Complete Hotend - .4mm

ObXidian High Flow Hotends were developed in collaboration with Bambu Lab, bringing users one of the most compact, lightweight, and high performing hotends available.

  • 60% additional flowrate when compared to the standard Bambu hotend

  • 1 x Assembled Bambu Lab High Flow ObXidian HotEnd .4mm 
  • 2 x Bambu Lab Bolts

High Flow

The volumetric flow rate of the hotend has been increased by 60%. Users can expect more reliable and consistent extrusion at the same speeds or bump up the volumetric flow rate limit  to utilize the motion systems' capabilities fully.


Abrasion Resistant

The E3DLC™ coated nozzle and heater parts add even more abrasive resistance for fiber filled materials and a non-stick protective layer to prevent plastic build-up.


Improved Layer Adhesion

E3D High Flow ObXidian Complete Hotends maintain interlayer adhesion strength even at higher speeds; resulting in the correct filament finish and strong parts for functional applications. 


Effortless Upgrade

E3D High Flow ObXidian Complete Hotends are a drop-in replacement for the stock X1C hotend, no adjustment to the mount or part cooling is required.


Compatibility

Only compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 and X1C.



Please Note:
  • The X1 E3D Bambu Lab ObXidian High Flow Hotends are not compatible with the X1E printer.
  • ObXidian™ coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles. Improvements in ‘exotic’ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymaker’s PolyMide range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF), can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials.
