Product Overview
Raise3D Premium PVA
High quality PVA filament for water-soluble supports
PVA or Polyvinyl Alcohol is a water-soluble material for support structures, generally used to support PLA prints. After printing, the part can simply be submerged in a water tank or bath to dissolve the supports. When considering compatibility with materials other than PLA, please follow these 2 guidelines:
1. The supported material should be hydrophobic, so it won’t be adversely affected by being submerged in water.
2. The supported material should be able to print at a low melting temperature, similar to the melting temperature of PVA.
As PVA dissolves in water, it is also susceptible to environmental humidity. As a result, it is recommended to store the PVA in a drybox or airtight container.
