The UltiMaker S8 Secure is engineered for environments with the highest security requirements. Unlike standard models, the S8 Secure has all network connectivity (WiFi and Ethernet) physically removed, allowing printing only via USB stick.
The S8 Secure uses tamper-resistant hardware, including bolts sealed with Locktite to prevent unauthorized disassembly.
Firmware is flashed in certified environments and is updated only through secure, controlled procedures.
By design, the S8 Secure does not support cloud connectivity, remote monitoring, or network-based management. This approach ensures sensitive data and intellectual property never traverse external networks, addressing the strictest data protection requirements.

The new AA and CC print cores, exclusive to the UltiMaker S8 have a new quad-chamber design that allows for 2.5x more flow and also helps with regulating the pressure in the print head for cleaner prints. Both print cores are hot swappable and can be easily replaced without tools.
